What We Believe

Bible: The Holy Scriptures including both old and new testaments is the inspired word of God. God's written will for all mankind to live by.

God: There is one true and living God eternally existent in three manifested in one, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe God is creator of all creation and sustainer of the universe.

Jesus Christ: He is the only begotten son of God conceived by the Holy Spirit. He has redeemed and atoned all of mankind's sins and salvation is through him alone.

Holy Spirit: He is the power and the presence of God on earth. He abides in the souls of God's people; and he ministers and leads us in all truth.

Salvation: This is the deliverance from the penalty of sin and death inheriting eternal life. Salvation only comes by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Sanctification: This comes after salvation. We must begin to cleanse our mind, body, and soul by obeying God's word.

Holy Communion: This is an act of worship in remembrance of the sacrifice that Jesus made for man's sins.

Baptism: Water baptism by immersion is symbolic of the spiritual death to sin and resurrection to the new life.

Spiritual Baptism: The indwelling of the Holy Spirit, baptizes the believer into the body of Christ.

Spiritual Gifts: All nine must operate in the church to experience the fullness of God.
